During its insolvency process, which started at the end of 2019, the Schweizer Gruppe GmbH announced the closure of the Aluminium Diecasting Facilities in Hattenhofen and Murrhardt, Germany, sites, but two other sites were sold to another Diecaster. When these sites were sold, the disposition of the Machinery & Equipment from the two sites, to be closed, started.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Machinery & Equipment at the Schweizer Group manufacturing facilities was late and in good condition; melting furnaces, 16 fully automated die casting lines (500t \u2013 1350t clamping force) and many machining centres .
Schweizer Group GmbH & Co KG supplied solutions in cast aluminium and magnesium. The company offered a wide range of products, such as gear cover, gearbox, retainer frame, steering protection tube, timing case, cylinder head cover and oil pump housing. Schweizer Group served the automobile industry mainly in Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Schweizer Gruppe\u2019s Leasing Company (owner of the Machinery &Equipment) appointed Hilco and Netbid, a German auction house, in the second quarter of 2021 to dispose of all Machinery & Equipment and handle the project management on behalf of them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the third quarter of 2021 we started the Private Treaty Sales, which lasted for a little less than 6 months and at the end of 2021 we held Online Auction Sales and we finished the project at the end of 2021 Most of the machines were sold to buyers from Europe, Turkey, Asia and North America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
